Call for Papers

The " Iranian Journal of Medical Biotechnology "is the official scientific quarterly publication of the Research center of Molecular Biology, Baqiyatallah university of Medical Sciences.

 
The Iranian Journal of Medical Biotechnology is currently seeking high quality papers for publication.

  The journal publishes articles, in English, in all areas of Medical Biotechnology applications in Basic, applied and medical sciences in: detection and diagnosis, Prevention, new vaccines, Molecular Biology, Molecular Epidemiology, Applied biochemistry, bioinformatics, Biosafety, Biosecurity and Bioethics in Biotechnology research and industry Molecular Microbiology, Medical Genetics, Genomics , Proteomics, Nanotechnology, Genetic Engineering, Stem cell, tissue engineering, Gene therapy, Immunotherapy, Protein engineering and Management and economics of biotechnology in healthcare

  Objectives

  The objectives of the IJMB are to develop, promote and coordinate the science and practice of Medical biotechnology. It also aims to help professionals working in the field, and educators and policy-makers to contribute, to disseminate information and to learn from each other's work.

  Professionals, academics, researchers, students and policy makers

  Contents

  IJMB publishes original and review papers, technical reports, case studies, letter to editor and short communications. Contribution may be by submission or invitation, and suggestions for special issues and publications are welcome.

  All articles published in IJMD are peer-reviewed.

  Our objective is to inform authors of the decision on their manuscript within four weeks of submission. Following acceptance, a paper will normally be published in the next available issue.

  Types of Paper

  Research articles: These should describe new and carefully confirmed findings, and experimental procedures should be given in sufficient detail for others to verify the work.

  The length of a full paper should be the minimum required to describe and interpret the work clearly.

  Short Communications: A Short Communication is suitable for recording the results of complete small investigations or giving details of new models or hypotheses, gene isolation and identification, innovative methods, techniques or apparatus.

  Review articles: Submissions of mini-reviews and perspectives covering topics of current interest are welcome and encouraged. Mini-reviews are also peer-reviewed.

  IJMB accepts only manuscripts that have not been published elsewhere and are not under consideration for publication by other print or electronic media.
